　　该剧根据真实的历史事件编写而成，反映了雾都解放前夕，国民党准备在撤离大陆之前炸毁雾都的兵工厂和重要基础设施，表现了国共两党的殊死较量和尖峰对决。剧作通过三大家族在风云激荡的乱世之秋中的兴衰沉浮以及方梦凯、罗丹和董海妹之间奇特的情感际遇和命运描写，演绎出剧中主人公面对强敌以及敌人的罪恶阴谋，同仇敌忾，决死抗争，慷慨赴死，不惜抛头颅洒热血的崇高爱国主义精神。

The play was written based on real historical events, reflecting the Kuomintang's readiness to blow up the arms factory and important infrastructure of Wudu before leaving the mainland on the eve of the liberation of Wudu, and showing the desperate battle between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.
